Stubborn to the Bitter End
I used to think Avery was my most stubborn child. As of tonight, Zane now holds that title. Earlier this evening Rob and Zane were wrestling around on the floor. Zane got a little carried away and bit Rob on the shoulder. After Rob got done scolding Zane for biting, he told Zane he needed to say Sorry. Instead of apologizing, Zane yelled NO! So, Rob held Zane on his lap and told him he wasn't going to let him go until he said sorry. After holding a wiggling, defiant Zane for about 20 minutes Rob had enough of it and sat Zane down on a bar stool and told him he had to stay there until he said sorry. Our bar stools are pretty high for a two year old and Zane can't get up or down without help. Zane sat defiantly and determined on that stool for over an hour. When ever Rob would ask him to say sorry, he'd yell 'NO.' Zane sat up there until Rob took him down to get him ready for bed, never once saying he was sorry. I'm not sure what is worse, an insincere apology, or being so dang stubborn. Hopefully tomorrow he'll have a better day!

LOL. They can be stubborn little critters. For some reason, Michael will not say Sorry, but he will "kiss it better" so we go with that.
