So you all know Cole is a terrible sleeper....What I didn't say earlier was that last night he was up from 2-6am. I nursed him at 2 and then he threw a fit when I put him back to bed. He was ready to be up for the day. I let him cry for a while, which inevitably woke up Zane. Zane came and got in bed with us and eventually fell back to sleep, but Cole kept screaming and screaming. When I'd go in his room and rub his back, he'd calm down and start to doze, but whenever I would leave, he'd pop back up and scream. This went on until 5:30am. At that time, I gave in and let him come sleep in my arms. He fell asleep just before 6am and slept until 7. Poor Rob, he was awake the whole time too and then left for work at 4am. So the boys (all 3 of them) and I are all really tired today.
So here's the dilemma, I really want the boys to take a nap, so I can rest too. However, getting Zane to nap and stay in his bed is a royal pain in the butt and requires A LOT of patience, which I simply don't have today. I really want to sleep, but I can't unless the boys are in bed! I almost think it'll be easier to just sit here in this daze rather than try to get Zane to nap. So do I fight with Zane to nap, or just count down the hours until bed time? (only 5 more hours to go).

Yuck. I remember that situation EXACTLY when our boys were younger. You want the older one to nap because the younger one does because you want your time! I think i finally gave up with Wes when he was 3.5. It just gets to the point where it's not worth the struggle anymore.
Does Zane like movies???
Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing....does Zane like movies???
Sigh...sorry. I can only imagine how difficult that is with them in the same room. I know my time is coming soon with the twins in the same room too!
