Last night we had a blast! We carved pumpkins and made caramel apples. Avery wanted a silly face on her pumpkin, Zane wanted a bat on his, and Shalyn made a ghost on hers. Once the pumpkins were carved, we put the boys to bed. Then, we melted caramels to dip apples in. The only problem was I put a little too much milk in with the caramels, so the caramel didn't set right. Our apples were so gooey and messy and yummy. We ended up with caramel all over our hands and faces. It was such a mess, but we had so much fun! 
Avery gave up on trying to bite her apple, she just licked all the caramel off instead.

Cute pics...I planned on carving a pumkin, but have not gotten around to it...time is definatly running out...
Mmm...I agree with the licking the caramel off the apple approach. Why ruin good candy with healthy fruit?
