Today Rob and I celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. It was a whirl-wind day (just like our courtship was)! Wedding ceremony, luncheon for really good friends and family and then the reception that night. Our reception was huge, we had several hundred people there. Our best man hid our car so nobody could trash it during the reception. After the reception Rob and I went to the Marriot in San Ramon. How's this for ironic....later that night, Rob and I decided we were starving so we went to Chilis. Sitting in the booth across from us was my X-husband's sister and his girlfriend... nice.




A week after our wedding, we went on our honeymoon to Ft. Lauderdale. We spent the week in S. Flordia, only we didn't get to spend much time at the beach because hurricane Michelle was about to hit. We ended up going to Orlando for a day to visit Disney world. Even with the bad weather, we had a fantastic time.

Looking back, neither Rob nor I can believe how fast our courtship was. We met each other at church in Febuary of 2001. We quickly became friends but neither of us were interested in anything more. I was dating (other people) a lot and Rob was taking a break from dating. Towards the end of May we both started seeing each other in a different light and both started wanting more. We started dating in June, shortly after, we broke up (he dumped me, and I haven't let him forget it!) After about a week apart, he came crawling back and we've been together since. He proposed in July--he had the evening all planned, but nothing turned out the way he wanted to, well except for the actual proposal when I said yes. We got married three months later in October.

Tonight we're going to leave Shalyn in charge of the three little ones and we're going out for dinner, probably to Outback, but we're not sure yet.
