At least he's honest...

Zane has started this new phase of hitting, kicking, thowing things, pinching, etc when he gets mad. Lovely, I know. Lucky for us (sarcasm) he gives us fair warning as to what he's about to do. He got mad at Shalyn over the weekend and quickly said, "I hit you." Then before she could react, he swung at her. It's been the same thing all weekend. He'll get mad at one of us, annouce what he's about to do, and then try to quickly do it before we can stop him. His punnishment is always the same, TIME OUT!

This weekend, Avery spent some of her birthday money on a new car (from the movie Cars). She was playing outside with it on Saturday and Zane was bitterly jealous. She set the car down for a minute on our porch while she was playing with her friends. Zane took the car and threw it in our big trash can. We didn't see him do this, but he came back saying, "I throw Avery's car in the trash." Rob went over to the trash can and sure enough, Avery's new car was about half way down the can. Oh that Boy!!!!

Aly that sounds like someone I know! B has been in that phase for a while, his biggest is he Screams if he gets super mad, and it's usually when he is tired, but he tells us first "I SCREAM". Perhaps it is so we can cover our ears!

At least Zane gives you fair warning. Malin does the same stuff, only he doesn't bother to tell us what he's going to do. He'll just start hitting, kicking, screaming...whatever when he's mad about something. Ugh...the joys of toddlerhood!
