1 down, 2 more to go

I finally did it! I finished the Independent Study class I began 15 months ago. As soon as I finished my final, I felt such a heavy burden lifted from me. I HATED that class. Sorry mom and all you other artsie fartsies out there, Humanities isn't my thing. As soon as I got home I threw away my hundreds of study 3*5 cards. Dang, that felt good. As of tonight I only have 2 classes left before I graduate (History 202, and New Testament). I am determined to walk at the August graduation ceremony.

Rob's working tonight, bored out of his mind. Long story short, the job he was supposed to do tonight fell through so he's doing random jobs to fill the time. Fortunately, someone wants to go home so he'll take over their job.

Shalyn had an uneventful day at school. She's annoyed at her choir teacher (as usual.) I'm not sure why this time, I think it has something to do with a test on Wednesday. I'm so bummed with the way choir has worked out for her this year. She was really looking forward to the class and she has a good singing voice, but, the teacher has ruined it for her.

Avery informed me that she doesn't want to play with her friends tomorrow. I think it might have something to do with me telling her she can't play until she cleans up the mess she made in the basement. She can be so sassy and stubborn. Maybe I'll have to start being like her dad and threaten to take away her cars (from the Disney movie) if she doesn't clean up.

Zane is back to normal. It seems like whatever bug he got left almost as quickly as it came. He got mad a his dad today because Rob picked him up from school before lunch was served. When Rob said, "Come on Zane, it's time to go." He was answered with, "No, no, no, no, no." Now that he's not sick anymore, tonight I told him he had to sleep in his big bed. That didn't go so well, he fell asleep on his floor.

Cole got to hang out with his Aunt Leslie today while I took my final. Amy and Leslie and it all planned out that if he wasn't picked up in time, Amy was going to take him to class with her. But Rob got there before Leslie's class started. I heard he was good for her and didn't cry like he normally does when she's around (j/k Les)!
