This weekend Shalyn has been in CA with her dad. She'll be flying home later tonight. It's been really interesting watching Zane and Avery while Shalyn has been gone. Usually, Avery would rather play with Shalyn than Zane, but since that's not an option right now Avery has been playing with him and they've been having so much fun. The two have been 'bestest friends.' The past two nights, they have watched a movie together, and have both slept in the den on the futon.
As a mom, it's been so nice to see my kids wanting to play together and being friends rather than the usual fighting and tattling.
