Crafting

First off let me say I am NOT a crafter. I don't really enjoy crafts, I too much of a perfectionist and can never translate my 'vision' into reality so when ever I can avoid it, I just don't do them! But, with Valentines Day this week there was no way to avoid crafts. At Avery's school, someone dreamed up the idea of having a competition on decorated Valentine boxes. Each grade had it's own theme to follow. The kindergarteners were assigned a Nursery Rhyme theme. I spent the first half of the day working with Avery on her box. We decided on 'Jack and Jill.' Here's the finished project.

Shalyn wanted to make some Valentine Cards for her friends, so I spent several hours helping her make them this afternoon. I think they turned out really cute.
