Zane's well check- I refer to him as a brick, he's really solid. Today at the doctor's he weighed 29lbs (fully clothed + shoes) which puts him in the 60th percentile. He was 36.6 inches long--94th percentile. Everything looks great with him! He only had to get one shot--hep A.
Avery's Gymnastics- Today was the day her gymnastics class got to show off all they learned this year. The best part about it was Avery got a participation trophy. Avery has been the green eyed monster when it comes to trophies as Shalyn has several from various activities and events she has participated in. She is so proud of her trophy that she insisted on bringing it into Wal-Mart with us. At home, she put her trophy in her window sill (because Shalyn keeps hers in her window sill.
Shalyn's Piano-Shalyn has been taking piano lessons from a neighbor of ours for the last 2 years. It's been a great experience for her, however, at the end of the month her teacher is moving out of state. We've been on a waiting list with a new teacher, and received a call last Friday saying she had room for Shalyn. Today was Shalyn's last lesson with Tanya and she begins with her new teacher on Thursday.
Rob's endoscopy- For about the last 2 years, Rob has been having digestive problems. He has been taking some medication which seemed to be helping. In the past month or so, his problems have gotten worse and the drugs are no longer working. He saw his doctor last week and in light of the recent problems he ordered an endoscopy. We have to be at the hospital at noon. Rob will be sedated during the procedure which should be fairly quick. We should have some of the results tomorrow before we leave the hospital.
Cole-Something has clicked with my baby boy in the past few days. Over night, he literally went from being a terrible sleeper to a decent sleeper. One night he was still waking every 2 hours (or more often) to the next night of sleeping almost 8 hours at a time. It's been four nights of good sleep so I'm hoping it's not a fluke.
