Last Day of School (for Avery)

Avery before school

Avery had her last day of Kindergarten on Friday. The three morning kindergartens did a program for the parents. They sang tons of songs and all the kids had a short speaking part. Avery was 'fall' and her part was, "Fall is leaves falling down, red and orange and yellow and brown." The only problem was Rob was working that day so I had both boys by myself and neither wanted to be in the auditorium. Zane and Cole wanted to roam the halls and play at the drinking fountain. I spent most of the time chasing them and missed most of the program, including when Avery said her part. And as if things weren't bad enough, Cole threw up on the gym floor while we were there too.
