Saturday 10/9

Yesterday the Maple Mountain Marching Band competed at the Riverton Band Competition. The four little kids and I went and watched them perform (Rob had to work). The band looked and sounded great. They won first in their division, and also received awards for the best percussion (go shalyn), best visual, and best music.

Before we went to the competition, I took the kids to get their flu vaccines. Avery and Zane were given the choice of a shot or the flu mist. Avery chose the mist and crazy Zane chose the shot. Avery has been telling him that he isn't brave because he still cries when he gets shots. He wanted a chance to show her how brave he is.

After the competition, we took the kids to Trafalga Lehi where Rob met us after work. They had a ball going on rides. We finished off the day with dinner at In-N-Out.
