I've been meaning to do a post all about Avery for quite a while now. Sometime last month, she came home from school with a sticker on her saying "I'm a bucket filler." Not knowing exactly what that meant I asked her. She told me her name was called over the loud speaker at school that she was a bucket filler and for her to go to the office for her prize---2 pencils.
This year at her Elementary school they have started the bucket filler program as a way to encourage positive behavior. When any of the adults at the school see a child exhibiting a positive behavior, sharing, helping, lifting someone up, etc, they write the child's name down and turn it in to the office. Each day the office draws out 5 names and those kids are recognized as 'bucket fillers'. According to the principal, this program has really helped improve behavior at the school. Way to go Avery!
During the week of Thanksgiving, Avery has been doing her part to ensure the tooth fairy goes broke! She lost 3 teeth in one week. She has one more tooth that is pretty loose but is still hanging on.

Hailey has lost a bunch of teeth too!! Poor Carter has mine so his are so slow to come out!! Maybe I should start the Bucket idea around our house!! Hailey asks almost every day if I can drive her down to play with Avery! Darn it!!
