Last Friday (the 23rd) Rob and I took the kids to Thanksgiving Point and went to their Barnyard Boo. It was perfect for Avery and Zane. Shalyn was too old for most things, and Cole was a little on the young side. We all got a punch pass good for five activities (so the little kids not only used theirs, but mine, Rob's and Shalyn's as well). All 4 kids decorated cookies and we all went on a wagon ride. Avery, Zane and Cole rode the ponies several times. The kids also had fun bowling and playing other Halloween games.
Avery wasn't very impressed with these horses after riding the ones she got to ride in Mexico. 
After leaving, we decided to check out Cabela's. The kids loved looking at the fish and weren't impressed with all the other dead animals. Being that neither Rob nor I are the hunting/camping/fishing/outdoors type I seriously doubt we'll ever go back there. But hey, now we can say we've been there. After leaving Cabela's we went to Chili's for dinner---Yum!
