Trafalga -Yikes!

Last night we took Avery on her date. Apparently she didn't get to golf enough on the cruise as she wanted to go miniature golfing. We took her to Trafalga in Orem. That place is in sad shape! The second hole was completely flooded in about 5 inches of water. It was one of those holes where you hit the ball into a school house or something and the ball goes through a little tube to the next part of the course. From there first part of the hole, we couldn't see that the bottom part of the course was flooded. Fortunately I was wearing flip-flops and waded into the water to get our balls back. At several other holes the green carpet or whatever the green covering is they use to cover the course was badly ripped up. That place needs to either sink some money into repairs or close.

After golfing Avery wanted to go out to dinner. At first she wanted to go to (in her own words) 'a restaurant in Provo I went to when I was three where I had a circle bread cheese (what she calls a quesadilla) with vegetables.' Neither Rob nor I had any clue what she was talking about. We finally got her to elaborate a bit more and she said there is a fountain in the middle of the restaurant. We finally figured out she was talking about Los Hermanos. By the time we'd figured it out, she'd changed her mind and wanted McDonalds. Uggg, Los Hermanos would have been so much better! BYU had a home football game last night and we wanted to get out of Provo as fast as possible, so we headed back to SF and went to McDonalds there.

When we got home, Shalyn and the boys were playing outside. We helped them clean up all the bikes, chalk, scooters, bubbles, etc and all went in the house through the front door. It wasn't until Rob left for work early this morning that he realized we never shut the garage door. OOPS!!! Thank goodness we live where we do, nothing was missing!
