For the last week and a half sickness has been running rampant at the Foussat house. It all started last Wed when Zane woke up with pink eye (yuck!) By mid-afternoon, both Shalyn and Zane started running 102+ temperatures. Their temperatures lasted for nearly a week. Last Saturday I took both of them to the pediatrician's office. Shalyn tested negative for strep and Zane was diagnosed with ANOTHER ear infection (#3 since he got his tubes in March).
On Monday, Shalyn left to spend a week in CA with her father. She was sick until Wednesday. Zane's temp has been gone since Wed as well, however, he has a lingering cold. Thursday night, Cole woke up around 10pm with a temp of his own. He continued to run one all day Friday, so today, I took him to the ped's office where it was confirmed his right ear is infected (for the 2nd time in 6 weeks.)
I'm not horribly surprised when my kids get sick during the winter, but it's unreal how sick they're getting in JUNE!!!!
