Zane

Some days I don't know what to do with that boy. He is so busy and into everything. If I don't keep an eye on him 100% of the time, disasters happen. Here are some of his latest doings in the past week.

-He found the un-frozen otter pops and a pair of scissors. He cut the tops off about 7 of them and poured otter pop juice all over the kitchen floor.

-He was chasing our cat, Ron around the house with a ketchup bottle. There was ketchup all over the back hallway and the bedrooms.

-He thought it would be a good idea to put his favorite DVD's down the air vents. By using a flashlight and a mirror we can see them, but we can't reach them.

-This past week I have cleaned both black and pink nail polish off my bathroom tile. He has dumped two bottles of nail polish while 'painting' his own toe nails.

-He found a toner cartridge for our printer and had lots of fun with that.

-Several nights ago, I bought a box of chicken nuggets for the kids to eat for dinner. I gave Zane 4, which he immediately ate. Shalyn had been given 5 and was taking her time eating them. She made the mistake of leaving three on her plate while she went to the bathroom. When she came back, there was only 1 left. While she was chewing a bite of her last nugget, Zane reached over and lightening fast, grabbed the remaining bit of her nugget and shoved it in his mouth.

-He also took scissors to his hair, but with his hair being wild and curly, it isn't really obvious (thank goodness.)

Oh my gosh! I feel the same way about Malin, only he hasn't managed to create such disasters yet. (Notice, I did say YET, I know my day is coming) He can officially climb over every gate in the house, so I have to keep a constant eye on him - or put him in his room w/two gates! LOL That really is the ONLY way I can keep him contained if I need to do something that will require me to not be able to focus on him 100%.
