Shalyn's baby

Shalyn is taking Child development at school. One of her assignments this year is to care for a robotic baby. This was her weekend to have the baby home with her. Baby Allie is programed to go off randomly and has a computer chip inside her that records how well Shalyn takes care of her. She cries when she's hungry, needs to be burped or have her diaper changed. She coos when she's awake and makes breathing noises when she's asleep. The baby acts like a 'real baby' and wakes up several times a night to be fed. Last night the baby was up at 2am and at 5am and ate for about a half hour both times (she has a electronic bottle.) I think this is a great exercise to show teenagers that taking care of a baby isn't all fun and cuteness.
