Zane's date night

When we started off the month of December, Rob and I were behind in our monthly dates with our kids. We had three kids, Zane, Cole, and Shalyn who needed their special time with mom and dad. Since Cole is still pretty young and doesn't quite get the whole 'date' concept and doesn't care what we do Rob and I took him out with us the day after Christmas when we went shopping and to lunch.

Zane has been saying for a while that he wants to go to Chuck E Cheese on his next date (again). There is a cool website around here www.citydeals.com that sells gift certificates for restaurants at less than the certificate is for. I was able to but a 20.00 GC to Chuck E Cheese for 10.00. On Wednesday, Shalyn babysat Cole and Avery while Rob and I took Zane out. Zane had a blast, he went from one activity to another. He blew through 40-something tokens in just over an hour. He cashed in his tickets (149) for 2 sheets of stickers, 1 large laffy taffy, and 6 mini tootsie pops. We had a few errands to run in the area (Target and Costco). Afterwards we went home and called it good. We'll be taking Shalyn out on Saturday to see the Blind Side for her date.
