Cole has been a paci addict since the day he was born. He loves his paci and squeals with excitement when ever he has one. Unfortunately, he has a little game he likes to play, throw the paci out of his crib and then scream until someone gets it for him. After playing this little game several times over the past weeks and last night from 2:30am-5am I feel it's time to take some drastic action. No more pacis. I gathered all his pacis he has stashed around his room and hid them. I'm not even going to tell Rob where they are because he's too big of a marshmallow. This morning went fairly well. Then came nap time, I was really nervous because he has never gone to sleep without his paci. I cuddled him and then put him in his crib, gave him his sippy cup of water and said good night. I was pleasantly surprised when he only cried for about 15 minutes before falling asleep.

Good for you! It is a bit scary, but it went fairly well for us too.
