It has been a week of illness at our house. The week started off on Monday night with Cole getting a stomach virus. He spent the night and the first half of Tuesday throwing up.
Avery was a little off on Wednesday. By evening, she was running a temperature. She stayed home from school on Thursday. That night, she started complaining that her throat hurt. So on Friday, we went to the Doctors. Not surprisingly, Avery has strep. As I've mentioned before, our Pediatrician is a family friend. When we were in his office he heard Zane coughing and offered to check his ears to make sure they weren't infected. They weren't, but we found out that both of his tubes are no longer functioning.
On Friday night, Zane started running a temperature. He woke up after having a terrible night on Saturday morning complaining his ear hurts. I took him to the doctor and it was confirmed he has an ear infection and croup. He was given a steroid shot for the croup and an antibiotic for his ears. I am so over winter and all the sickness. Bring on the sun!!!
