Today Sucked

Today has been a rotten day. Actually, let me back up, it all started last night. I was exhausted, so I was determined to get to bed earlier than I had been the previous several night. Just as I was about to go to bed, at 10:30, the three little kids all woke up crying. When Zane wakes up in the night, it's a nightmare. He thinks he should be able to run around a play. The little boys share a room, so it's not like I can let one fuss very long. Anyways, it was after 12:30am before all the kids were back in their beds asleep.

This morning, Rob took pity on me and got up with the kids, letting me get a little more sleep. 15 minutes after he left our room he came back in to inform me that sometime during the night, our computer crashed. Ok, why did you have to wake me up and tell me that? After that I was up, there was to be no more sleep for me. We spent the morning trying to diagnose and fix the problem with our computer ourselves, to no avail. My father suggested taking out the hard drive and putting it in our other computer. Great idea!!! Except we find out after the hard drive is already out the two computers are not compatible.

So the day goes slowly trudging on, the way they always do when you're sleep deprived and totally exhausted.

***Warning*** This next part is all about poop***so don't say that you weren't warned.

After dinner, I found Zane in the bathroom sitting on his potty. I asked him if he was going pee-pee to which he said, "No, I go poo-poo." So he sat there and grunted, and then farted a few times. At that point, he wanted to switch potties, he got off his little potty and onto the big potty. It was then, I noticed he had a little bit of poop smeared on his butt, but there was no poop in the potty. I asked him if he had already pooped and he said yes. So then I asked him, "Zane, where is your poo-poo." "In mommy's room" he said. Oh crap (yes literally)! I ran into my room did a quick glance, no poop on my floor, in my closet, on my bed (thank goodness), in my bathroom. or anywhere I could see. So I went back to Zane and asked again, "Where's the poop?" Once again, he said, "In mommy's room." I said, "Where?" Again he said, "your room." Ok Zane, you're going to have to show me because I sure couldn't find it. So he walks over to my side of the bed and lifts up the dust ruffle and points under my bed and says, "there." Apparently my little darling had pooped on my floor, picked up his poop and hid it about a foot under my bed. Ewwww gross! I guess I should be grateful that it was under the bed rather than on the bed.
Here's the little 'darling'

Oh noes! At least he showed you! My kid would have let me sniff ghost poop for a week before I discovered it.
